These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Agbeub, a multi vendor marketplace designed for farmers, entrepreneurs and buyers across Nigeria. By accessing or using this platform, you agree to be bound by the terms outlined in this document, which are compliant with Nigerian laws and e commerce regulations.
“Agbeub” means the platform, website, mobile app and all services provided through it.
“User” refers to any person accessing or using the platform.
“Vendor” refers to any seller offering products on Agbeub.
“Customer” refers to any buyer purchasing products.
“Order” means a purchase confirmed by the customer.
“Terms” means this Terms and Conditions document.
By using Agbeub, you agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable Nigerian laws including:
Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as amended)
Nigerian Data Protection Regulation (NDPR 2019)
Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act (FCCPA 2018)
Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.) Act 2015
Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA 2020)
If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
To use Agbeub:
You must be at least 18 years old.
You must have a valid phone number and email.
Vendors must comply with Nigerian business and tax regulations (CAC registration optional but recommended).
Users must:
Provide accurate information
Keep login details confidential
Not impersonate or use fraudulent details
Agbeub is not liable for unauthorized access caused by user negligence.
Vendors must:
Provide accurate business details
Upload genuine product images and descriptions
Comply with Nigerian consumer protection laws
Respond to customer inquiries
Process orders promptly
Not sell illegal or prohibited items
Prohibited items include:
Drugs, weapons, counterfeit goods, expired food, stolen items, pornography, wildlife products, and any item banned by the FCCPC.
All listings must be:
Accurate
Truthful
Non deceptive
Compliant with NDPR and FCCPC rules
Agbeub reserves the right to remove any listing that violates platform rules.
Prices are set by vendors.
Agbeub supports:
Paystack
Flutterwave
Wallet
Bank transfer
Cash on delivery (optional)
Agbeub may charge vendors commissions per sale.
Delivery may be handled by:
Agbeub delivery partners
Vendor logistics
Third party couriers
Customers will receive updates via:
SMS
WhatsApp (where applicable)
Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary by location.
Under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act (FCCPA):
Customers have the right to request refunds for defective, damaged or incorrect items.
Vendors must accept returns where applicable.
Refunds will be processed according to vendor policy and platform guidelines.
Certain items are non returnable for health or safety reasons:
Perishable food
Opened consumables
Personal hygiene items
Vendors may request withdrawals after orders are marked “completed”.
Agbeub reserves the right to hold payouts for:
Fraud investigations
Customer disputes
Chargebacks
Automated payouts may be introduced in future updates.
Agbeub earns revenue from:
Vendor commissions
Delivery fees
Advertising placements
Featured product fees
Premium vendor upgrades
Fees may be updated with prior notice.
Agbeub complies with:
Nigerian Data Protection Regulation (NDPR)
Cybercrimes Act 2015
We will never sell your data to third parties.
User data may be used for analytics, service improvement and fraud prevention.
All platform content including:
Design
Logo
Code
Graphics
Text
Images
belongs to Agbeub and is protected under Nigerian copyright laws.
Users may not:
Engage in fraudulent transactions
Create multiple fake accounts
Use bots or scraping tools
Upload harmful content
Attempt hacking or system abuse
Violations will lead to immediate account suspension and possible legal action under the Cybercrimes Act.
Agbeub is not liable for:
Vendor misconduct
Product quality issues
Delivery delays caused by vendors or logistics partners
Losses caused by user negligence
Third party service interruptions
Users agree to use the platform at their own risk.
Disputes shall be resolved:
Through Agbeub customer support
Through mediation (FCCPC guidelines)
If required, through Nigerian courts
Jurisdiction: Federal High Court or State High Court
Agbeub may suspend or terminate accounts for:
Fraud
Misrepresentation
Breach of terms
Illegal activity
Users may delete their accounts at any time.
Agbeub may update these terms at any time.
Users will be notified via email or website notice.
